Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use PitchStage at live.tesor.app, how we use it, who processes it, and the rights you have. PitchStage is for adults only and is not intended for anyone under 18.

What we collect

• Account details: your handle and email address.
• Pitch content: the pitch text you submit.
• Votes and feedback: votes, reactions, and written feedback you give or receive.
• Usage data: basic technical and usage information such as device, browser, and session activity needed to run the Service.

Live audio and video

Your live audio and video are transmitted in real time peer-to-peer or through a selective forwarding unit (SFU) operated by LiveKit so that other participants can see and hear you during a session. We do not record your live audio or video. Please note that other participants may capture or record what they see and hear, which is outside our control.

How we use information

• to operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
• to display pitches, votes, feedback, and live sessions to participants;
• to keep the Service safe, enforce our terms, and prevent abuse;
• to communicate with you about your account and the Service;
• to comply with legal obligations.

Processors and service providers

We use trusted third parties to provide the Service. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments:

• Supabase: database, authentication, and storage.
• LiveKit: real-time audio and video transport.
• Vercel: application hosting and delivery.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies only, for example to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell it for money or other valuable consideration.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, the CCPA and CPRA (California, US), and PIPEDA (Canada), including the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your account and personal information;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell);
• request portability of your information;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

International transfers

We and our processors may store and process information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

Children

The Service is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above when we do.
