Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of PitchStage at live.tesor.app and any related features (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and able to form a binding contract.

3. Live video and your content

PitchStage is a live pitch platform. Pitches, video, audio, text, votes, and feedback you provide are "User Content." When you join a group stage or a 1:1 duo session, your live audio and video are broadcast in real time to other participants, who may be strangers.

By participating you understand and agree that other people can see and hear you live, and that you may be recorded, screenshotted, or otherwise captured by other participants outside of our control. Do not share anything on camera or in text that you would not want others to see, save, or redistribute.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post or transmit illegal content or engage in illegal activity;
• harass, threaten, bully, defame, or impersonate any person;
• share nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, hateful content, or content that exploits or endangers others;
• infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
• distribute spam, malware, or attempt to disrupt or attack the Service;
• collect or record other participants without their knowledge or consent.

5. Your content rights

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, and display your User Content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

6. Moderation and termination

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, to protect users, or to comply with law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of other participants.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitchStage and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months or one hundred US dollars.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction placeholder], without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [venue placeholder].

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
